ClimateTech startup Crosstown has raised €2.5 million in funding to support the commercial rollout of its H2R® Burner technology – a retrofit solution that allows existing gas turbines (such as those from Rolls‑Royce, GE, Siemens, ABB) to operate on 100% renewable fuels like hydrogen. The technology is designed to significantly cut NOₓ emissions and reduce up to 300,000 tons of CO₂ annually per 100 MW turbine.
The investment – backed by leading investors and public institutions – will help Crosstown expand internationally, accelerate the deployment of its patented solution across Europe, and contribute meaningfully to the continent’s energy transformation by repurposing existing power infrastructure.
