Swiss ClimateTech unicorn Crosstown H2R has closed a new investment of USD 3 million in seed funding, led by Italy’s 2100 Ventures alongside Climate Insiders (Berlin), Unruly Capital (London), SDAC Ventures (Berlin) and existing backers CiRi, Voyagers and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. Founded in 2022 by S. Manoj and Prith Harasgama, the Zurich‑based startup offers its patented H2R® Burner technology – a retrofit solution enabling existing gas turbines to run on 100 percent renewable fuels, flexibly handling various fuel blends while immediately cutting NOₓ emissions.

With this fresh capital, Crosstown aims to scale its deployment across multiple OEM turbine platforms (Rolls‑Royce, GE, Siemens, ABB), drive deeper partnerships with OEMs and independent service providers, and accelerate its mission to decarbonise gas‑turbine infrastructure across Europe.
